Has some interesting mechanics such as a tile based map division. (It does feel unique for a top down strategy game) Is technically still work in progress, but the future of it is uncertain.

A noise generation tool for creating procedural textures for games. (I’m still not sure if I get this done in time)

C++ but with N-API + React + Typescript + Electron. Debugging IPC issues has been among the least pleasant experiences in my development career so far.
I think this project is cursed. Too many problems to list.

Probably the most useful project on this list just in terms of utility over time. (It helped me a lot over the years)

Largest project I worked on, navigating the codebase during the end of this era felt like traversing the forge world of mars in the 41st millennium.
Will not reveal more about this project in detail just yet, as that alone would be worth an article in itself. I have no clue how I managed to glue this together, it feels like arcane technology to me looking back.

An experimental space colonization game.

I tried to write my own game engine in 2018/9 specifically for this project, but it was too ambitious for me at the time (besides, it took too long).
Ended up learning a lot about the Unreal Engine and engine architecture in general.

Survival Game

A unique survival game set in the ancient world with a very detailed resource management and crafting system. Worked on this for 2.5 years, but had to postpone it indefinitely.
Surely the most ambitious project on this list (given my skill level at the time) and consequently, my biggest regret. Retrospectively, I view this project as a learning experience in game design and project management (say 100k LOC+).
